This article was clipped for me by a friend who was a genealogist. I have lost the reference sheet so I can’t give proper credit to the author but I presume it was taken from a book on the history of Hamilton county.
Jacob would have been my great great grandpa.
According to this article they built some of the most prominent buildings in Hamilton county. Also interesting is the mention that they were involved with the Democrat party (that goes back). My mother always said my grandpa Glen Heinzman was a diehard democrat. His daughter, my aunt Vinita was also very involved with politics and served as secretary for Owen county democrats.
